City of Sunnyvale’s Employee Health Fair

On October 28th, 2011 we had a great day at the City of Sunnyvale’s Employee Health Fair. We were one of many local businesses that were on display that day.

Two of our exceptional massage therapists offered massages to attendees of the health fair. It was a beautiful day that we spent at the Sunnyvale Community Center.

Many City employees attended the fair. Several of them had never had a massage in their life and were surprised at how well the massage made them feel.

Making a business sucessful is not only about making money, but also making people feel loved and cared. Each holiday season Simply Slim and LaVida Massage give out their massage services as a gift to Sunnyvale’s community including Laurel Elementary School and Sunnyvale homeless organization. When these two companies give to the community they feel proud because every little thing they do brings a smile to the people they serve. If everyone would just give to their community a little of their time our society would be much better. This is the reason why we give our services to the community. LaVida Massage was invited by Santa Clara University for their Christmas celebration. Many students attended this event. There was a very long line they had to wait in, in order to receive a massage. To our surprise none of them left the line. They must have been studying hard for finals and needed a massage to relax. All of the students absolutely enjoyed our massages. There were even some students who bought our massage gift cards to give to their parents as their Christmas gift.

LaVida Massage Grand Opening

Our second location celebrated its Grand Opening on January 26th. LaVida Massage of Sunnyvale made its soft opening on October 18, 2010. LaVida offers massage, body wraps and facials to its clients. Our couples massage room has been particularly popular with our massage clients.

More than 50 clients, friends and employees as well as representatives from the City of Sunnyvale and Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce joined us in celebrating our Grand Opening.
